The picture above is not the arrival of UFO apparitions. It is a cloud called Lenticular Clouds. These clouds are layered and formed by the moist air is forced to flow upward around mountain tops.
The pilots will as much as possible to avoid flying near clouds is because it will trigger strong turbulence.
